Wales prepare for Bob Docherty Cup Defence

Wales U15 Girls are warming-up for their Bob Docherty Cup defence by hosting Scotland for a double-header in North Wales.

Coach Matthew Clement has selected a squad of 19 players for the matches at Llandudno and Cefn Druids.

Captain Carrie Jones, Grace Morris and Lucia Molinari will join up with the squad after spending this week in camp with the national U17 squad.

They kick-off at Llandudno is at 7pm on Saturday and 10.30am at The Rock, Cefn Druids, on Monday.

Clement said: “For this group the target has always been the Bob Docherty Cup, which is being played in Belfast in March.

“But we face a tough test against Scotland before travelling to Brittany later this month. That gives us a great opportunity to prepare to defend the trophy we won last year.”
