Rob Edwards’ Cymru U19s will take part in a four-team friendly tournament against Austria, England and hosts Croatia next month.
- 7-13 June, Croatia
- Cymru, Austria, Croatia, England
The tournament will take place in Lucko and Zagreb, with Cymru’s opening match against Croatia taking place on Tuesday 7 June. Several of the players likely to be involved for Cymru would have faced England U18s in a 1-1 draw last September, and both sides will face each other again in the tournament on Friday 10 June. The final match against Austria will then take place on Monday 13 June.
The tournament will be seen as the ideal preparation for next season’s UEFA U19 Qualifying Round, which will be hosted in Wales. Cymru have been drawn against the Republic of Ireland, Hungary, and Gibraltar, with matches taking place in September.
