TAYLOR SAYS THE ISRAEL MATCH IS "MASSIVE" FOR WALES

Neil Taylor is excited for the forthcoming European Qualifier in Haifa.

Neil Taylor is excited for the forthcoming European Qualifier in Haifa.

"In the current scenario it's a massive game for us, one we are looking forward to", Neil Taylor told the media at a press conference today at the Wales Team Hotel in Cardiff Bay.

The Swansea City defender was in high spirits, reflecting the general mood in the Wales camp ahead of their visit to Haifa on Saturday for the European Qualifier against Israel.

"They've [Israel] done really well in the group so far and it will be a tough environment for us", said Taylor.

"I'm really excited about the atmosphere, it's what we're in football for. If you want to progress, we have to go to places like this and get a result."

Taylor added: "Israel will feel the same way as us. There's a great opportunity to get ahead of the others."

Israel currently sit top of Group B with maximum points from three matches and Wales are second with eight points from four matches.

In other news, Ashley Richards has withdrawn from the squad with a calf strain. He will be replaced by Declan John from Cardiff City.
