Giggs announces squad to face Slovakia and Croatia

Cymru manager Ryan Giggs has announced 26 players in his squad for the upcoming UEFA Euro 2020 qualifying matches away to Slovakia (10 October) and at home in Cardiff against Croatia (13 October).

Aaron Ramsey returns to the squad after recovering from injury which saw him miss out on the first half of the qualifying campaign, with Giggs pleased to see him show dazzling form since his move to Juventus. Cymru captain Ashley Williams also returns to the squad after missing out on last month’s matches alongside Rabbi Matondo and Tyler Roberts, who have recovered from injury.

Ben Woodburn and Dylan Levitt have been called back to join the U21’s as they face Moldova in their UEFA U21 Euro 2021 qualifying round while James Lawrence is out due to injury.
