  2. When booking your travel to the UEFA Champions League Final, plan to arrive by 10.00 if travelling by car (and coach) and 13.00 if travelling by train (local time) and enjoy the UEFA Champions Festival and all the City has to offer before going to the match. Allow extra time for your journey.
  3. Plan to get to the Stadium early so you don't miss out on any of the match or the pre-ceremony.
    Aim to arrive at the Stadium by 17.45 (local time) for the Men’s Final and 18.45 (local time) for the Women’s Final. Travel light and check what you can take in. There will be enhanced security measures in place at the Stadium.
  4. If travelling from outside the UK you have many options. 
    You can travel direct to Cardiff by air, train or road or via the major points of entry such as Bristol, Birmingham and London. The easiest way to travel to the UK by road is by coach. For further information visit our travel information page.
  5. Travelling to Cardiff by train or coach is a great option but book your ticket now to avoid disappointment. Services to Cardiff are expected to be exceptionally busy all day on Saturday 3 June in particular. Book your train or coach now! Or book your travel through the Travel Guide App.
  6. If you intend travelling by car book Park & Ride or Park & Walk now.  There is no dedicated spectator parking at the Stadium for the Men’s Final so book early to avoid disappointment. When planning your trip allow extra time for your journey as all roads to Cardiff will be exceptionally busy particularly on Saturday 3 June. Book now!
  7. Collect and have your journey tickets with you well in advance.  Remember you can collect train tickets in advance from most UK stations and your Park & Ride and Park & Walk tickets will be available through your mobile phone.
  8. Put your best foot forward. Cardiff is a very flat, compact City with the major locations within easy walking distance. 
    The National Stadium of Wales, where the UEFA Champions League Final will be held is in the city centre. Cardiff City Stadium, where the UEFA Women’s Champions League Final will be held is approximately a 25 minute walk from the city centre. 
  9. Don't get stuck in queues after the match, enjoy all that the city centre has to offer before leaving, If travelling back by train to London be sure to book a later train to minimise unnecessary waiting around. If travelling by plane, departure times for flights are tight so please allow extra time for getting to your transfer back to the airport.
